There’s been talk recently of Ted Thompson getting worn out and possibly getting close to retirement. Since Thompson took over from Mike Sherman in 2005, the Packers have generally performed at a consistently high level.

The Packers’ winning percentage over that time ranks them tops in the league, having made the playoffs nearly every year (5 straight recently), including the Super Bowl win in 2010 and a 19 game winning streak at one point.

ESPN has a great article on the impact Thompson has made with the Packers, and what life was like pre-Thompson and what it may be like post-Thompson.
